Hello,
my name is Minerva and I'm a multidisciplinary artist.
My earliest memories of creation go back to childhood. I remember being obsesed wtih performance, then music, then drawing. I got advised during orientation class to go into the all-encompassing 7th art, film-making. I am constantly juggling my different passions and skills, which of course is an adventure, but also a double-edged sword. ILLUSTRATION
"NO LIFE HERE FT. LAZ GONZO THE MAN WHO SOUGHT THE WINGS"
This existential comic is about seeking transfiguration in a time of surrealism and death. Laz was looking for life in an industrial desert, he had no choice but to become a bird and discover that the neighboring lands are more dead. Took part in "Not Today" opening collective exhibition at Lynn Modallal Gallery, 2023. ​​
"ARCADE DREAMS"
This series of illustrations is inspired by 8-bit retro games, more specifically Space Invaders. They were made in 2017 and they are meant to be risograph-printed.

FURNITURE
"COCO EXOTICO"
I teamed up with my carpenter uncles to create these Roccoco, Art Deco and Folk pieces. The point was to make them timeless by painting them in a pop way.​​ Took part in the "Beirut Independent" exhibition in Beit Beirut curated by Adorno in 2018, and got featured in the Financial Times, Yatzer and Zetteler.
FILM-MAKING
"SPACE TOM'S ROCKET TRIP TO THE MOON"
Consisting of static shots and a nordic ambiance, the movie talks about a little boy resorting to dark actions in order to achieve his dream. It is surrealist and abusrd. ​​
Screened in Cannes Film Festival, as part of the Short Film Corner category, 2017.

ACTING
Between 2017 and 2019, I starred as the main character in multiple Lebanese short films and commercials, and in Yasmine Hamdan's music video Douss, remixed by George Bshoum.
